Street Index Book

The Student Records Office maintains the Street Index book.  The Index Book lists all streets in the Fort Worth School District, and can be used to determine the:

  • boundary line between school attendance zones
  • school for a particular residential address
  • feeder school for an elementary or middle school

All questions regarding the FWISD Street Index Book should be referred to the Student Records Office.

Obtaining the Street Index Book

Copies of the Street Index Book are mailed to all Fort Worth ISD schools at the beginning of the school year.  Revisions to the Index Book are mailed to schools monthly.

An Adobe PDF version of the Index Book is provided in the link below. It is updated monthly.

Using the Street Index Book (PDF Version)

Search for a street in the PDF version of the Street Index Book by selecting Search from the tool bar.  Enter the street you are searching for and press the Search button.  The correct page(s) should appear in the Results box.

The Street Index Book is listed in alphabetical order.  Schools are listed by the FWISD campus numbers.  A link to the campus directory is provided below

Most private roads in apartment complexes are not listed in the Street Index Book.  The apartment office mailing address is used as the residence address for most apartment complexes.
