Departments: TEAM FWISD

TEAM FWISD is a mentoring program designed to increase the number of high need students graduating from high school. It currently serves students in 18 targeted schools.

Through one-to-one and group mentoring activities, students are exposed to a stable, professional and supportive relationship with an adult.

The goal of the Department of Education funded program is to 1) provide support and guidance to identified youth through mentor activities, 2) improve the academic performance of mentored youth, 3) improve the interpersonal relationships of students with their peers, teachers, other adults, and family members, 4) reduce the school dropout rate for high need youth, and 5) reduce juvenile delinquency and gang participation by high need youth.
