The Superintendent and district

supervision, and evaluation of the FWISD's educational programs.
The Committee consists of 12
elected school district representatives and 11 board-appointed
parents, community and business representatives. Each member
serves a two-year term. The term for Board appointed representatives
expires in January; the term for school district employees expires
in October.
Eligibility
FWISD employees are elected as follows: four elementary
teachers, two middle school teachers, two high school teachers,
and one representative elected at large. In addition there are
three principals elected to serve: one each from elementary,
middle and high school.
Parent Representatives - The individual appointed to serve in
the position MUST be the parent of a FWISD student. (It is important
to note that parents may only serve in the role of parent; parents
may not be appointed as community or business representatives.)
Community Representatives - The individual in this position may
not be the parent of a FWISD student and must live in the district.
Business Representatives - The individual in this position may
not be the parent of a FWISD student and need not work or live
