Parents,
community invited to informational fair on
advanced academics and special interest programs
What/Who: FWISD's Advanced Academics and Special
Interest Program Fair
When: Saturday, January 25, 2003
12:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Where: Daniel Meyer Coliseum, 2800 Stadium Dr.
Texas Christian University
Why: Information will be available about the many advanced
academic programs, including special interest programs and Advanced
Placement courses, offered to FWISD students in elementary, middle
and high schools.
For those needing transportation,
buses will be available from each high school at 12:30 p.m.,
1:30 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Buses will return from TCU to the campuses
at 2 p.m., 3 p.m. and 4 p.m.
Parents interested in enrolling
students in a special interest program, which offers a unique
thematic approach to learning, must submit applications by February
10 to the FWISD Advanced Academics Services, 100 N. University
Drive Ste. 226NE, Fort Worth, Texas 76107.
