Here you can find up-to-date information and required forms to prepare for the construction procurement for the CIP.

Phase 1 Procurement started in November 2008 and was completed in December 2009:

  • 21 Bid Packages
  • Over $125 million
  • Opportunities for all Contractors
    • 1 BP under $2M
    • 10 BPs from $2M - $5M
    • 7 BPs from $5M - $10M
    • 3 BPs over $10M

Phase 2 Procurement started in July 2009 and was completed in September 2010:

  • 19 Bid Packages
  • 4 New Schools
  • Over $142 million
  • Opportunities for all Contractors
    • 1 BP under $2M
    • 6 BPs from $2M - $5M
    • 6 BPs from $5M - $10M
    • 2 BPs from $10M - $15M
    • 2 BPs over $20M

Phase 3 Procurement started in December 2009 and is currently ongoing:

  • 10 Bid Packages
  • Over $66 million
  • Opportunities for all Contractors
    • 4 BPs from $2M - $5M
    • 4 BPs from $5M - $10M
    • 2 BPs from $10M - $15M

Construction procurement summary: As of August 13, 2010, 51 contracts totaling $374,275,580 were awarded to 28 general contractors.  In addition, a similar number of contracts have been awarded to JOC abatement, JOC general construction and JOC trades.

The Bid Opportunities link below will bring you to Fort Worth ISD’s Purchasing Department Web site. The Bid Information section contains information regarding bidding opportunities throughout the District and the CIP bidding information will be included here.

Proposal Tabulation Forms
The Proposal Tabulation Forms for each Bid Package will be posted below within 72 hours of the Proposal Opening.  Under the procurement method approved by the Board of Education the base price accounts for 40% of a firm’s overall score.

Board Agenda
The approved Board Agenda for each Bid Package showing the ranking of contractors and the procurement record memo will be posted below within 48 hours following the Board’s Authorization to Negotiate and Enter into an Agreement with the best value firm.
