- a resolution regarding a lease
purchase agreement for the purpose of procuring Plato credit
recovery courseware;
- a resolution nominating John
Molyneaux for the Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) Board of Directors;

by Green Scaping for a new parking lot at Como Montessori School;
- tabled a contract amendment
for construction manager agent until the first meeting in August.

Work session:
- Supt. Thomas S. Tocco presented
an update on the proposed 2002-03 budget. A public meeting and
adoption of the budget and tax rate will be held August 13.
Recognitions:
- The Board recognized Pete Martinez,
president, Fort Worth Hispanic Firefighters Association, who
presented the association's David Delgado Scholarship to Andrea
Porter, Arlington Heights High School, and its Jesse Sanchez
Scholarship to Laura Acosta, Trimble Technical High School.
