        Accelerated High School is a
one-year, single grade school targeting approximately 210 students
who are overage for remaining in the middle school but lack the
academic proficiencies to move on to high school. The school
provides a rigorous, innovative program that allows students
to remediate academic deficiencies while earning three or more
high school credits per semester. The academic program is coupled
with support programs encouraging the development of social skills,
self-confidence, and desirable attitudes towards educational
        achievement.
