FWISD McTeacher's Nights at local McDonalds
LOCAL McDONALD'S TO RAISE MONEY FOR AREA SCHOOLS
Fort Worth ISD Teachers To Get Behind the Counter to Raise Money(Fort Worth, TX) January 24, 2005 Principals and teachers from Fort Worth Independent School District will trade in their textbooks and rulers and head to McDonald's to "work" the evening shift, as local McDonald's restaurant owners and Fort Worth ISD are partnering together on "McTeacher's Nights" in February.
More than 15 local schools, including eight in Forth Worth ISD, will receive 15 percent of total sales at participating McDonald's restaurants from 5 to 8 p.m. on designated nights throughout February.
McDonald's "McTeacher's Night" is a single-night fundraiser designed to financially assist Fort Worth schools. Each participating school's principal and staff will "work" at local McDonald's restaurants greeting customers and students and helping out at the registers. Families of students, school supporters and the community are encouraged to visit local McDonald's restaurants and help raise money for their local school programs.
