Students Contribute To Angels At My Door

Fort Worth, Texas Students from the Fort Worth Independent School District have contributed artwork to the book Angels at My Door. The book is authored by Fort Worth children who have been touched by AIDS/HIV and Deborah Jung.

The celebration surrounding the release of Angels at My Door is scheduled for Saturday, May 17, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Fort Worth Central Library. At the same time there will be a display of the angel artwork contributed to the book by Fort Worth ISD art students; winners of a FWISD art competition will be announced; and there will be a performance by Kids Who Care Musical Theater.

The book’s angel theme was inspired by the Fort Worth Opera’s upcoming production of Angels in America. While proceeds from book sales are designated for Fort Worth AIDS service organizations several hundred copies have been set aside for donation to school libraries.

The Fort Worth Central Library is located at 500 West 3rd Street.
