Capital Improvement Program (CIP)
In November 2007, voters approved a $593.6 million Bond Referendum, including $551.9 million to be used for construction of new schools, additions, and renovations to existing schools and athletic facilities.
I’ve been honored to lead the 2007 Capital Improvement Program since its planning stages from inception to date. The CIP Staff, the Program Manager, and multiple consultants and contractors under contract for the CIP, are committed to a first class program, safely built state-of-the-art facilities, built on time and on budget. We are also committed to operational efficiency, transparency, and sustainable design practices.
This website is intended to serve the Fort Worth community and keep the public informed throughout all phases of project development: planning, design, procurement, construction, and post-construction phases. It also provides valuable information to the design and construction industry regarding vendor opportunities and HUB participation.
Visit the individual school project pages that highlight every project included in the 2007 Capital Improvement Program. We'll be updating the pages as milestones are reached.
Thank you for your support as we are “Building the Vision” in Fort Worth ISD!
