Juan Rangel is the principal of JRE Fort Worth where he specializes in private and public problem solving, funding and project management. He has earned a Masters degree in Public Administration from the University of North Texas. During the last thirty-two years, Mr. Rangel has served on numerous major boards and committees.  In 2007, Mr. Rangel was a candidate for the Fort Worth City Council, District 9.

Mr. Rangel believes that no child should ever fail in school.  He has worked tirelessly in addressing school dropout issues with the Stay in School Conferences and has been an organizing force behind FWISD’s  Project Prevail and Parent Engagement Office.

 Mr. Rangel worked to bring the Junior ROTC Junior Corp Cadets to Fort Worth middle schools. He helped address the dangers of drugs and alcohol through the Red Ribbon Rally.  He is married to Dr. Patricia L. Rangel, Director of the FWISD Early Childhood Department. They have one son, Juan A. Rangel, III, an Anthropology major, who will soon graduate from the University of North Texas, in Denton, Texas.
