Ann Sutherland has spent a lifetime working to make work for all children and has taught every grade from preschool through graduate school. During her career she became a budget analyst at the local, state and national levels to ensure the efficient use of resources.
Dr. Sutherland believes that as a Trustee she will best serve the Fort Worth community by supporting students to access those opportunities that allow them to complete their studies, graduate and become productive members of society.
She has been living in Fort Worth for six years and moved here from California to be closer to her six grandchildren. Dr. Sutherland and her husband David Burlingame are avid cyclers and have ridden over 2,000 miles since their marriage in 2007.
