FORT WORTH ISD DEDICATES NEW BAND HALL 

A ribbon-cutting ceremony and concert marked the official dedication of the new Music Hall at Fort Worth ISD’s Southwest High School. The celebration tookplace at 6 p.m. on Thursday, November 15 on the west side of the school.

Although the new Music Hall was not originally part of the 2007 Capital Improvement Program this new construction was funded by savings generated through prudent management of taxpayer funds.

Southwest High School is home to the Gold Seal Program of Choice Fine Arts Through Music Excellence (FAME). You can learn more about this program and other Gold Seal Programs at Southwest High School by viewing our online video.
